Who you're booking with

Savvy Getawayss is a dba of Shae Evans, an independent travel advisor based in Texas operating under the host agency Outside Agents (a brand of A.S.A.P. Cruises, Incorporated, a Florida corporation headquartered at 9125 Philips Hwy., Jacksonville, FL 32256). Independent Agent of FST No. ST15578 and CST No. 2090937-50.

By using this website or engaging Savvy Getawayss to plan a trip, you agree to these terms.

The advisor's role

Savvy Getawayss acts solely as an independent agent for travel suppliers - airlines, cruise lines, resorts, hotels, tour operators, ground-transfer providers, and travel-insurance carriers. We do not own, operate, manage, or control any of these suppliers.

Your travel contract is with the supplier and is governed by that supplier's published terms and conditions. We will pass those terms to you before you confirm any booking.

Quotes, pricing, and confirmation

Quotes are based on availability and pricing at the time of the quote and may change at any time until a deposit is received and the booking is confirmed by the supplier. Currency, taxes, port fees, resort fees, and government charges are passed through and may change.

A booking is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation number from the supplier or from Outside Agents on the supplier's behalf.

Payment

Payments are processed directly by the supplier or by Outside Agents on behalf of the supplier. Savvy Getawayss does not hold client funds in its own name. Credit-card authorizations, deposit schedules, payment plans, and final-balance due dates are set by the supplier.

Changes and cancellations

Change and cancellation fees are determined by the supplier and are often non-refundable past specific dates. See the cancellation policy for details and for our own service-fee policy.

Travel insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended on every trip. Savvy Getawayss is not a licensed insurance producer and does not sell insurance directly; coverage is offered through licensed third-party providers arranged via Outside Agents. See the travel insurance page for details. If you decline coverage, you accept the financial risk associated with cancellation, interruption, medical events, or supplier insolvency.

Passports, visas, and travel documents

You are responsible for ensuring you and every traveler in your party holds a valid passport (typically with at least six months of validity beyond your return date), the visas required by your destination and any countries you transit, and any vaccination or entry documents required at the time of travel. We will flag what we know, but the final responsibility is yours.

Limitation of liability

Savvy Getawayss is not liable for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, schedule changes, route changes, equipment failures, injury, illness, loss of life, lost or damaged baggage, supplier insolvency or bankruptcy, denial of boarding, or any other event outside our direct control. This includes weather, natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, government action, terrorism, labor actions, and any other force majeure event.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of any trip planned through Savvy Getawayss will not exceed the planning fees you paid directly to Savvy Getawayss for that trip.

Reviews and user content

Reviews posted through the on-site form are auto-published and visible to anyone. You are responsible for the truthfulness and legality of what you post. We reserve the right to hide or remove any review at our discretion, including (but not limited to) content that is false, defamatory, contains personally identifying information about third parties, advertises a competing business, or violates any law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless a different forum is required by the supplier's terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site or services after a change indicates acceptance.
